I kept reading about it on here, so I bought a loaf of it today. It was in the frozen section, and says to keep refrigerated. How long does it last in the fridge once I open it?

I hope it's as good as people on here say it is...I love my sandwiches (LOL) but am trying to cut down on the carbs.

Thanks!

I keep it in the freezer and toast when ready to eat it.
  • I usually eat a slice for breakfast most mornings and it's never gone bad in that time.

I refrigerate it and usually eat two slices a day and it's still fine by the end of the loaf.

I also do a slice everymorning and never had it go bad on me. I also love the english muffins (1/2 of a muffin is a serving), and the hamburger buns are great with my veggie burgers. I keep the muffins, buns, and tortilla's in the freezer until I use, and the opened loaf in the fridge.

So do you cut up the slices before freezing them? The loaf I bought from the store is frozen solid.

It has never gone bad for me! I love the stuff. It's great toasted with a little almond butter and banana on top :)

I keep in the freezer until I use it. I ALWAYS either toast it, or grill it (i.e. for grilled tuna melt or grilled cheese.) I don't think it's good untoasted or grilled, personally. But it is very, very good!
