Newbie question - Macros goals - want to lose 25lbs

Hi! I'm just starting out with tracking my food intake. My goal is to lose about 25lbs over the next 5 months (I'm 5'7" & currently 157lbs). My macros goals are set at 40% carbs, 30% protein & 30% fat (130 grams/97 grams/43 grams). Should I be adjusting them? Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

25lbs is doable in that time, but it might be a bit aggressive for you since you are only 157lbs to begin with. So don't think about the deadline too much, go at your body's pace and stick to a sensible calorie goal.
Macro adjustments don't matter as much as the calorie count, but personally I like to have more carbs than anything.0 -
@melonaulait I'm setting my calories at 1250/day.0

500 cal deficit is plenty with good nutrition and exercise. Slow gradual loss that is sustainable when you get there.0
