So I'll make this quick
I am new to the whole macro system and weight loss. Been following a macro system 50% protein 30% fat 20% carbs after being down 30 pds. I decided to refigure my BMR and put me at a whole new maintence calorie bracket (I minus 1000 cal to put me at the 2 pd weight loss per week) which also of course effected my macros.
I am still eating alot of fruits and veggies staying away from bread but I have now realized fruits have a lot of carbs. I am starting to go over some on my carbs.
Question being is the carbs in fruit metabolically broke down the same as the carbs found in bread or other low complex carbs.
Hope I explained that correctly still new to understanding the system. Thanks for any replies also feel free to add.

You don't take calories off your bmr to get a deficit, you take them off your tdee0

I use my BMR number then use sedentary times 1.2 I think moderately active is 1.35. Forgot to include that information...but I use for now 1.2 then minus 1k0

The fruit carbs, Commonly called simple carbs will spike the blood sugar/insulin as oppose to whole grain complex. I prefer mostly whole grain as I tend to feel fuller longer due to the higher fiber content.
You can get great fiber out of fruits as well but not from 100% juice. However it won't stop me from enjoying my protein shakes with bananas and or enjoying occasional fruits when I want something sweet.
I Micro manage my macros at times and will steer clear from super sweet fruits just so I can enjoy some grains instead. Is there a difference to the overall weight Loss of one vs the other. I don't know but I won't be starving by spoiling all my carbs on delicious red apples or something.0 -

It seems your over complicating it as a lot of people seem to. For one for weight loss it's the calorie defecit that counts which you seem to be confused how to work that out. (as someone explained above). As for Macros percentage is a poor way to calculate them as 10% of 1000kcal is totally different to 10% of 3000kcal. You're better off looking at grams.
Don't worry about carbs unless you have a medical reason. I eat around 70% carbs (mainly from fruit and veg) which I lost originally 130pounds with. Rather than Micro/Macro managing IMO it's better to look at your diet/lifestyle as a whole and aim for a variety of foods based around Fruit/veg wholegrains and good Protein (that doesn't mean you cant occasion have treats) and keep within your calorie goals.
Unless you have specific reasons fitness goals its pretty pointless to over manage Macros as long as you go for balance in your diet. Human beings have managed 1000s of years without stressing over Macros.0 -
Fruit carbs are stored directly as fat, so they are worse. Stick to Vegetables. Try macros 20/20/60.
