Food Scales

I am shopping for a food scale to help me weigh out portions that I can put into bags and make servings. That way, no overeating can occur and it is done and ready to grab and go. (almonds, fruit, etc.) so, the food I am trying to measure is quite small, so something that can weight something light and well! Anyone know of any good quality scales? needs to be able to measure ounces.

I just use a scale from meijers name brand Taylor. It works perfect for me.0

I use a cheap $5.00 one from Target to measure out my food. You get used to eyeballing your food after awhile. I always measure my food to control my portion sizes because I eat every 2-3 hrs. I forgot to mention that it's completely lightweight and easy to take with you too.0

I picked one up for just this purpose a few months ago. It is well worth it. I picked it up on Amazon. It can weigh things up to 11 lbs but also can weigh in increments of grams, ounces, kilogram or pound.
EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale, White
Was about $25- you might be able to find one for cheaper. I really like this one though.0 -
Just got one a couple of weeks ago from walmart for $20 and it works great. I believe its a mainstays brand and its digital.
oh and it weighs in grams, oz, kilograms, and pounds. It can weigh up to 10 lbs of food and it has the tare feature which is awesome.0 -
I've had the Escali Primo Digital scale for about 3 years. Using it a lot more lately. It's about $23 on amazon.com.
Can change the setting from grams / ounces and pounds with a button, and reset to 0 after putting a dish / bowl on it, so it just weighs the food.
I like it.0 -
I got my digital scale from Target, approx $28. it has a glass scale, does ounces and grams, and you can get the tare weight of your containers so as not to mis-skew your portions.0

Great! Hope you like it. The only reason I have the more expensive one is that I got it as a wedding gift., otherwise I would have gotten the one from amazon too.0 -
