Looking for help.
Only learnt today that this is an actual disorder. Im so close to my weight loss goal, but my binging is getting out of control. Putting on 4kgs in one session out of control. I cant stop myself. I go back to normal routine, get down to my normal weight then Ill just do it again.
How does everyone deal with this?
I want to go to a nutritionist, does this help?

I have actually studied this a bit in a Master's degree program class....you need to get counseling. You can have all the knowledge in the world, but it will not solve what is somewhere in there making you feel like you need to binge. Get help, you are worth it0

Professional help. But also all of us will binge if we eat too low. Our hormones change when we don't get enough food, so if you are human you will binge if you eat to low. You probably need some help for how you feel about food that you go too long without eating, thus it makes you binge, thus you get into a vicious cycle. You need to allow yourself to be human and not a machine.0

I suffer from binge eating too. I joined a therapy but actually doesn't seem to have worked so much, after an initial phase of stabilization I got even worse...I'm going to be followed in a new ED center in a month and hope this time will work. Meanwhile I am reading a very meaningful book titled "Brain over binge" by kathryn hansen and by now I find it really interesting since it helps you to deal with binge urges, I absolutely recommend it!0

I too deal with this. It's a daily struggle but I'm learning to take one day, one meal, at a time. I make sure I'm eating throughout the day and not letting myself get so hungry that I lose all control. I have 3 meals and 3 snacks per day. Snacks may be fresh veggies with a cheese stick, or crackers and hummus. I make sure that portions are correct and track everything. For me the key is to not let myself get so hungry that I want a whole cake or everything on the menu at Chipotle..lol0
