Looking for ideas on a destination for partner and friends all in our late 20's. Want fun but also history, exploration!

    I loved my trip to Rarotonga it's relaxing but you also learn so much from their culture

    All of my vacations have been spectacular in their own right...whether it was scuba diving in Roatan, Honduras or beach bumming it on St. Maarten or road tripping from London to Edinburgh (just to name a few). My wife and kids and I will be traveling with two other families to Colombia in May...we'll be splitting time between Cartagena and Medellin...we have all kinds of things planned of course, but one of the things I love about traveling and vacation is that you never really know what's going to be in store for you...it's always a grand adventure.
