I keep reading how important protein is for your diet. I'm not a vegeterian, but I'm also not a big fan of meat (or most other foods that contain protein). I do eat chicken, so get some there, but am looking for other ideas that people have for protein. Thanks!

You eat chicken, how about fish? Tuna (canned), talapia, salmon, tuna steaks are also good sources of protein. Cottage cheese is a good source of protein. What's your stance on milk? Whole milk is actually probably better than skim, despite what some people say. Other than that, you're probably narrowed down into protein supplements. My favorite brand is a company called Biotest.
  • How about beans/lentils, any kind of cheese, roasted chick peas, chia seeds, eggs, milk or milk alternatives, like soy, almond and rice, quinoa, tempeh:)

Nuts, beans and cheese are great, in my opinion.

Protein powder, greek yogurt, quinoa, i know u said you arent vegetarian but most meatless substitutes are high protein as well and are good for variety. Eggs are always good, i prefer the egg whites in a carton when i do eat eggs.

Beans or a protein shake would be my rec. I have to take soy protein due to food allergies, but there are tons of yummy choices.
