Sugar vs sugar?!

Heyyy I'm addicted to fruit! Is there any way to differentiate between sugars on MFP?? I don't feel like two bananas should be treated the same as a piece of cake in regards to sugar content

Sugar = sugar, no matter the source. US nutrition labels don't (yet) differentiate between intrinsic sugar and added sugar and MFP uses nutrition labels so there's no way for MFP to separate them.
If you have a medical issue with sugar, you need to watch your sugar. Otherwise, you may want to watch something like fiber instead.0 -

Thank you! I do not have any medical conditions regarding sugar. I just watch myself around sweets, but gravitate towards fruit. I guess I was more hoping for a way to track added sugars.0 -
I know the struggle. As a vegan I eat about 5 fruits for breakfast, which means I'm already over my sugar intake, and the day has just begun. My suggestion is is to not worry about the sugar levels, as long as you aren't cramming in things that are full of processed sugar.0
