    40 - 50lbs / 18% body fat in a year and I'll be happy

    I want to lose about +/- 60lbs by end of September.
    5'3"
    HW:195 (was not pregnant at the time)
    CW:184
    GW:120

    4 kids (including twin girls)
    I have a cruise in September that I am trying to get confident for.

    What cruise are you going on? Just curious because me and my wife are also going on a cruise in September for our anniversary. We are going on Royal Caribbean.

    Ideally I'd like to lose about 50, but if I look good before then I'd be happy! I of course would like to look good and build my confidence for summer!

    Just started intermittent fasting. Was at 205 lbs, and just lost 6 lbs in 13 days. Looking to get down to 175 lbs. But it's best to gain strength and take my time to get to my goal.

    Hoping to go down at least 11 more lbs! Goal is 115. But if I am 120 with good muscle definition, I'll be super happy :)
    Fitness goals are complete P90X and be able to do push ups and chin-ups.

    So nice to see someone who has a realistic weight loss goal in mind of a healthy pound a week, rather than the constant influx of "I must lose 30lb in the next 3 weeks" posts. Well done and good luck to you. x

    Haha I know! It's not a realistic goal and even if you can do it, it's not maintainable! I'm only 5"3 and I'm 164lbs which puts me at nearly obese (although fitness wise, I'm above average as I do play a lot of sport) I want to be down to 140 by September but first goal is under 160 as I seem to be stuck here haha!

    Hi there! I'm working out with a trainer now and my goal since Jan 1st was to lose 40 pounds by my birthday (July 1), which might have been doable but Jan & Feb were horrible for me and so I've recommitted as of March 1 - calling it my version of March Madness. So 40 lbs in 4 months? Maybe a little aggressive. But I'm keeping the goal as a motivator and even if I get halfway there, I'll be ecstatic.

    I'm down ~25 at the moment, and I'd like to lose 40 more. I haven't really given myself a time-frame/goal, though. Just keeping within calorie goals and tracking everything! Add me if you'd like, one and all. :)

    I'm down 33 and have 72 more to go. I'm just going to keep tracking my food until I get there.

    Yes don't give up and think positive ,we all have set backs and learn as we go :) but the biggest step we take is starting with the desire to lose and finding the will power to continue :)

    I'm Brittani and I'm looking to lose 30 lbs. I am hoping to lose 15 by June 1st. We have a family reunion by a lake and I haven't seen my husbands family in about two years, that was before I had my youngest. We can do it!

    My weight goal is to get below 180 would like to do that by a mid summers eve but due to several nagging injuries it's going to be difficult. Current weight is 189 I want to get to 175.
    Basically, I don't want people trying to push me back into the water this summer or looking to pure water down my blow hole. ;-)

    Oh boy i would love to lose 40 lbs!! Ive already lost 20 since December 2015. Hoping to hit my goal in august. Trying to stay focused and motivated everyday. I LOVE reading the success stories on here... It Keeps me going! I just have to keep believing in myself, i CAN do it. We CAN do it! :)

    I'm just getting started again...My first goal is 15 lbs by June 20 (before it's fully warm enough for summers dresses and tank tops). Second goal is another 10 lbs. by July 31st (my wedding anniversary). Finally, I just want to be confident in my skin again. Yes, I have weight I want to lose, but I want to be toned again.     Since starting on January 25, I've lost an average of 3 lb per week. I started calculating my daily average weight loss a couple of weeks ago and it has consistently been a little bit more than .45lb/day. Extrapolating that in a straight line, I decided that I wanted to lose 40 lb by April 23, which is my next Dr. appointment. My motivating issue is medical, and I want to a) fix that medical issue and b) prevent it recurring.
