Hiya hope u taking medication isn't for anything serious and ur well.
But yes there is some medication that can hinder your weight loss, I am talking from experience and got advice from a nutritionist and doctor.
Depending on the medication and the Condition your taking it for, but you can simply Google the side effects of medication.
    Hope that helps you. X

Some meds may cause water retention or increased hunger. Others may slow your metabolism. Since you didn't tell us what the medication is there's no way for us to know if yours does any of those things. Keep in mind that just because a medication may cause a side effect that doesn't mean that it will. Also a lot of side effects, like increased appetite, may show up at first and then diminish within a few weeks. Just do what you would be doing anyway, and try not to worry about it. If there seems to be a problem that you think is medication related you can always talk to your doctor about switching, but I wouldn't assume there's going to be a problem before one exists.

Without knowing what the medicine is, it's literally impossible to say.

I am taking Lovan, one capsule tablet in the morning only.

So fluoxetine (Prozac)? I can cause increased appetite, but it will only hinder weight loss if you give into that appetite and eat too many calories. As long as you stay in a calorie deficit, you will be fine.
