Spring! Yay!

Spring has hit the Northeast early (thank you groundhog) - it's a beautiful beginning for March. I've just recently shed a few pounds and find myself naturally kicking into gear! Yay, yay and yay! The holiday weight is off and it's a good start for me to finally set my sights on a 10% goal. Anyone else feeling "Springy"?

It is going to be 50 today in Buffalo. I'm beyond excited, I'm so sick of the treadmill. I just want to go for a walk.

Yes! It's starting to sound and smell like spring outside! I love this time of year. I can't wait for it to dry out a bit so I can get out in my garden and start looking for spring wildflowers. We've already been hearing woodcocks calling and have caught several salamanders in the pond. Did I say I love this time of year? :D

I've been bundling up and walking despite the cold, snow or mud, but will be happy to trade my boots for sneakers.

It'll hit 80 degrees by Friday here. Mid-70s all week. And yet, this morning it was 37 degrees on my way to work. Ah, South Carolina.

boo!! The warm weather is destroying the already horrible ski season. I take every Wednesday off of work to ski with my 6 year old son (home schooled) and this year I've only used 45 hours of vacation compared to last year I used 62 (I do try to get a few hours of work from home every Wednesday in hence the low and odd numbers). If it stays cold for a few more days I can get another ski session in.

Spring has to be the worst season by far with all the soggy ground and stinky worms. Summer, fall and winter are all far superior.

I concur, the only difference between spring and winter here on the oregon coast is it is slightly less cool. Rain, wind, blah having lived here my whole life in ready for a change.

I'm so ready for spring weather to be here!! With the cold and dark, winter makes me want to hibernate. I can't wait to be able to soak up some sunshine after work again!
