Hi everyone, started this program about 2 months ago and everyday I find something new that I had not seen before. Just learning to understand it all.... but having a hard time keeping my cholesterol and protein down and keeping my fiber count up... any suggestions??? Thanks

    Hi:
    Welcome to MFP.
    I suggest you ear the MFP "Most Helpful Post" at the beginning of this thread.
    Buy yourself a food scale, weigh all the food you ingest and log it at MFP.
    If you eat at a deficit ( calories burned higher than calories ingested), you will decrease body weight
    I do not understand why you wish to keep protein down.
    I suggest to log at MFP for at least a week to find what your baseline is.
    Vegetables,fruit and grains have plenty of fiber. Try to eat more of them.

    I am doing a program with the Wharton clinic and they say I should try to keep my protein to around 65mg. And a lot of days have been more than that like 77gm. And every women should try to eat 30gm of fiber daily. I do record everything I eat on MFP find it very help ful and have recorded 2 of my recipe on here . Learning more everyday. Thank you very much for your input appreciate it.
