Weird flabby bit on armpit

I know everyone us this weird flabby bit on their armpit (and I think it's worse in wormen, right?)- but what can I do to get rid of it? Since I've started training my biceps and triceps, I think it's gotten worse. Is it just a case of incorporating some chest and shoulder training in too?

Has anyone got any good chest and shoulder exercises that would work in this area?

The part that sort of pops out of the "armpit" hole of a sports bra over the seam?

Usually that's caused by wearing the wrong sized bra

When my arms are down, I have a bit of a fold? Is this what you mean ?

Google "Axillary breast tissue" and have a look at the images. If that's what you're talking about, unfortunately surgical removal is the only real option as it isn't fat, it's displaced breast tissue. It's quite common, and it sucks. I have it - quite badly on one side. Haven't worn a sleeveless top in years. One of the main reason I keep striving to hit a normal weight is to have it removed.

In my case, the bra is correct. Just a weird part...LOL!! Oh well. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who notices it.

Yeah that's what I mean. It's much worse in a sports bra than my ordinary bras, so I'm doubting it's the bra's fault. I have never trained my chest area so I was just wondering if it was that and if that would help. I'm not overweight - just have no muscle in that area.

Nono it's not axillary breast tissue. It's not as bad as that. It's only when my arms are down, and made worse by a sports bra.

I just checked in my mirror, and I can't see any weird flabby bits. Is is too much to ask for a photo? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot..

Aah ok, yes, yes, yes I have this too. I've always thought it was extra flab.

    Buy a bigger bra.

The best exercise I know for armpits front and back is the dumbbell pullover done with heavy weight. It works a lot of things.

I don't have the squishy looking bits there, but I used to be disappointed in how loose those muscles felt. They get nice and tight with lifts if that's the problem.

That's breast tissue. I have it, too. I second the bigger/fuller coverage bra.

Eta: Or lower body fat percentage. Generally (but not always), breast tissue (which has fat in it) will decrease with lower bf%. Or not, like me. I will always have breasts in my armpits.

Good old fashion push ups will cure that.

Yeah, I think it's just tissue/genetics but I think it can be lessened with a lower body fat %. If you're strength training you really should be training full body. I don't know why you wouldn't be benching/training chest.
