Hi everyone, just wondering how long you all exercise for & how many calories you burn a day?

On average 6 days a week for an hour to 90 minutes. I don't put stock in the calories burned, because machines and app information seem to be off. I just have my alotted calories set to lightly active.0

I like to do Pilates with Kickboxing elements and then go for a jog. How much time I have determines how far I go, usually from 5 to 10 K. I burn from 550 to 1200 calories depending on distance. I run outside, 9 mile minute, and there are a lot of high hills around here. 5k takes me 30 minutes and 10k one hour. Pilates is 45 minutes.0

I train 5 days a week or so.
Monday - chest + arms +40 minute cardio outside or on cross trainer
Tuesday - back + boxing at 6pm
Wednesday - Legs + 40 minute cardio
Thursday - same as Monday- boxing at 6pm
Friday- same as Tuesday No cardio
Saturday - Arms + 40 minutes cardio
Sunday - Rest0 -
Weight lifting 3x a week, 30-40 minutes each session. For cardio I walk my dog 1.5-2 miles a day, weather permitting. I use my elliptical occasionally, if I feel the need for extra activity.0

I have just started exercising, again. Trying to walk about 60 minutes (30 min, twice a day) 4 or 5 times a week. Trying to get back into the swing of being about to pound out a 5k without any problems. Gout flare ups keep wrecking my progress0

Not much, these days. I strained my back while lifting. It's finally resolved. I did some backcountry skiiing last weekend. Yesterday and today are rest days. Tomorrow, 1 hour spin class. Thursday, 2 hour hike. Friday, rest day. After that, we'll see how I feel. Lifting again next week, hopfully.0

I work out on machines for about 1.5 hrs every other day - I have to drive 20 miles to the gym so I do my entire work out every time. Then I walk for about 1/2 hour. I'm physically disabled and walk on crutches, so my walking it a lot more effort than normal.0

Walking everyday, bodyweight exercises (YAYOG) 3x weekly (20-30m), MMA 3x weekly (30-60m) and yoga/Kata 1x weekly.0

I do Boot Camp on Monday, Tu/W/Th are cardio days (45-60 min), and Friday is strength class. I generally take weekends off because they're so hectic with my son's activities, but if I have time I'll have a walk on Sunday. I've only been doing this for a couple months (I'm a noob), so I expect I'll be tweaking my exercise as time goes on.0

I do 2 or 3, 45min classes 5 days a week, I swim 4 days for 45-60mins and I have just started doing Park Runs on a Saturday morning (5K). I'm a really slow runner due to hypermobility in my hips, so my PB IS 37.37. Sunday is rest day.0

Religiously : 45 minutes intensive walk on weekdays. Jogging at least 45 minutes and/or walking 18 golf holes on weekends, every weekend. I may take a day off once in a while when I feel tired (tired and lazy are different things. Learn to differentiate). I should start doing some weights and other routines but I get bored at gyms... Fitbit (or similar gadgets) helps a lot. I do not go to sleep without having at least my 10K steps/ day. I make an average of 95K to 100K steps a week. Being aware and having accountability of your daily exercise is as important as being aware of what you eat. Use it both. The "shut your mouth and move your butt" diet does not fail.0

I do 4 hour long workouts per week. This includes lifting and high-intensity interval training. I plan to bump this up with another 3 classes per week of boxing that are 45 minutes each0
-
Lately it's been an hour. 45 minutes bicycling and a 15 minute walk, five days a week. I burn between 250 and 300 calories per workout.0
-
Monday: 60min of cardio (elliptical or treadmill) OR go for a walk; Tuesday thru Friday: weight training for about 30 min then 60 min of cardio. Sat/Sun: rest days. According to the machines I burn about 400 calories, but I'm planning on getting a heart rate monitor for more accuracy.0

between 3-4 days a week of exercise (depending on how the week falls. i work out once every other day).
I do the following every other day:
10-15 minutes of deep stretching and foam rolling/myofascial release
30-45 minutes of weight lifting
10-15 minutes of light cardiorespiratory training0 -
Right now I'm riding about 80 miles per week and I lift 3x per week. I don't really pay any attention to how many calories I burn because I don't really care...I figure it's a nice little bi-product of what I do, but it's not the reason I do it...but I figure probably 600 calories on a good ride (more on a long ride) and a few hundred in the weight room.0

Generally 3 days on 1 rest day, 3 days on is my routine. Combo of strength/HIIT/tabata (Fitness Blender 8 week plan currently). Burns are anywhere from 190 on more strength based days up to 500 on very intensive cardio days.
Sometimes run, usually about 3 miles if I do but have only been out once this year (I run in my local park anxiety and panic attacks allowing).0 -
Compared to others here, I am lazy. But it works for me. Walk every day 3-5 miles. Water aerobics 1x a week, yoga 1x a week. I generally have 250-400 extra calories per day, depending on that day's activity.0
-
55 minutes approx for fitnesss blenders 8 week round two (5 days a week + stretching) , then I tend to walk 30-60 or more here and there.0

I'm training for an 8k race so I've been running 5 days a week
Monday 3 miles
Tuesday 6-7 miles
Wednesday 3 miles
Thursday Tempo run, then hill repeats (about 6 miles)
Saturday interval run (about 6 miles)
After my race I plan on scaling back a bit. Prior to training, I would run 6 days a week, but only 3-5 miles at most.

7 days. Treadmill for 45 minutes and Jillian Michael's 30 day shred (20 minute workout + 7 minutes warm up/cool down). Also just started lifting, which I do 3x a week0
-
trying to make it at least 2 days a week to the gym (workout about 30-45min cardio and then i do weight machines). *busy single mom*0

I don't exercise to burn calories. I lift weights to build muscle. 4x per week. I spend about 7-8 hours in the gym per week.0

Not exercising enough or burning enough to make a difference but my schedule:
Mon- Boot Camp
Tues - Kickboxing
Wed -Boot Camp
Thurs - Kickboxing
Friday -trainer or nothing
Saturday/Sunday - something outdoors either hiking, walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or whatever comes up
I need to spend a lot more time in the gym but I have a new puppy and a lot of other sorry excuses so I haven't been doing what I need to be doing.0 -

Seems like a good weekly burn to me. Way more than I ever did.0 -
I jog on the treadmill for 15 minutes 5 days each week, and follow that with 5 or so minutes of squats and sometimes pushups. It's about 150 calories those 5 days. I can burn more calories shopping at Wal-Mart.0
-
I am going to the gym twice a week working on three days. Start out with 30 minutes biking and then 30 minutes using different weight machines to strengthen my back muscles.0
-
Usually 6+ days a week. Lately on my rest day I still walk the dog at least.
30-70 minutes at a time.0
