is it only drinking lemonade for 10 days? if so- i wouldn't recommend it for THAT long. I've heard of two day juice fasts that seem to help, but I honestly don't know what their purpose is. Sorry i probably shouldn't have even responded but you can't delete a post after you write it!! I just feel like any weight you lose on a liquid diet will be gained back as soon as you start eating again...0

Do you mean the Master Cleanse with the cayenne pepper and maple syrup? DON'T DO IT... I did it for like 3 days a couple of years ago. It doesn't work and makes you feel disgusting.0

If you are trying to "cleanse" try a lemon and water enema. It'll clean you right out! I love them...once every two weeks. :bigsmile:0

I've been attempting it, but I'm not strong enough for it right now. I needed to get myself back to where I was before I fell off the wagon, but the first few days are tough and I never make it past day 2.0

yeah the master cleanse i think its called, and no worries, ill take it all into consideration. nothings negative here!!0

I did it for a week about 4 or so years ago... It made me sick all you can drink is that lemonade (no food), my body almost gave out on me - passed out one day leaving my job...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~DO NOT DO IT~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~0 -
Yeah, I also felt very weak. I thought I was going to pass out. The Master Cleanse is VERY high in sugar obviously, so I think my body was having sugar rush, then crash, then sugar rush, then crash all day long. Not healthy... I'm sure if you stick it out you'll lose a bit of weight but the headaches, moodswings, and weakness were too much for me to handle!
I think fruit and veggie detoxes are much better!0 -
If you're talking about Master Cleanse, I had some friends who raved about it so I tried it a couple of years ago. I finished the 2 week cleanse but HATED it. Seriously. I felt horrible during and even worse afterwards.0
I TOTALLY agree!!0 -
10 days might be too long, I guess. The longest time I've ever heard is 3 days. I tried it for a couple of days. First day, okay. Going into second day, I felt like throwing up all the time so I stopped. But I, somehow, felt cleansed0
I have done it last year for fourteen days and lost 13lb. It's called "master cleanse". I heard good report about it and tried it. I am glad that I did. You do have to drink sea salt water which most people just can't stand it, but it sure cleanse your system and the weight just came right off. I wasn't hungry any more (wasn't enticed by the smell of sweets and so forth).
Now, when I did the seond time (6 months later), i had trouble drinking sea salt water and didn't last for more than 5 days. Just as for any diet, you have to be determinded to do this. Many people reported they have seen 'interesting things' coming out of your body, I didn't have that experience, but if you go to Master Cleanse group on Facebook, you can get alot of support. If you have more questions, you can email me as well.0 -
Eat a decent amount of calories. Eat good for you, wholesome food. Your body will take care of the rest.0
