Vacation in a few weeks

In a few weeks I'll be going on vacation. Will probably do a fair amount of walking around but food & alcohol will be abundant. Looking for some tips on how to not worry too about about my intake during this week. Don't want to so concerned that it brings me down during my time off.

Honestly, I just don't even think about it. If I commit to being "good" for a month or so after returning, there's no long term damage done.

That's kind of what I thought my approach should be.

I definitely don't worry about it, in fact I typically gain weight on my vacations (like about a pound per week that I'm gone), but oh well, I just get back on it when I come back and lose it again. No big deal.

Vacations are far too few to worry about a pound or two or three. Life's too short for that.

This is true. This will be my first real vacation in almost 5 years.

Getting back on track when you return is the most important part. If you think that will be a struggle, then do what you can to make that easier upon your return. Make a meal plan for what you are going to eat the first few days after you return. Go to those dates in MFP and pre-log it. Go ahead and buy any non-perishables. Once all of that is out of your brain, go enjoy your vacation.
