So here I am, S. Michael, ready to improve my health.

Me: middle aged, my ideal weight is 200+ lbs. away, very sedentary, stairs is a challenge, looking to improve my behavior, they way I interact with others.

I'm looking for starter cardio advice. I'm not on my way to any classes just yes. I've started walking and am currently at a mile. Please share any ideas that you have.

...and here we go!!!

Walking is a great start! Slowly increase the distance or the speed. Add in a few seconds of jogging here and there, then work on increasing those. One of these days, before you know it, you'll be running.

One thing you may want to consider is some form of resistance training. It will help you keep muscle along the way. Body weight exercises are a great place to start and don't require equipment.
