At the begining of my journey....a month ago... I started adding grapefruit to my diet. I did not like it much in fact I forced myself to eat 2 a day.
now im hooked. I have to have 1 every night..it is so good..And I do believe it has helped me alot with slimming my tummy. Has anyone benefited from eating grapefruit

If you like grapefruit by all means eat it, however it is not a magical weight loss food, just the fact your eating in a calorie defict is helping you lose the weight

I wish I could still eat grapefruit. You have to limit your grapefruit intake when you are on thyroid meds.

They just opened a Sprouts near my house and have a 5 pound bag of grapefruit on sale for $1. I've been enjoying one each night.

Why would you force yourself to eat grapefruit if you didn't like it?
I'll eat a half of one every now and then but I have to smother it with sugar to make it bearable, I like them but they're just too tart for me.

There are no benefits to eating grape fruit, over eating any other fruit. If you like it, go for it, it is ahealthy choice. Make sure to check very carefully interractions with meds and supplements if you need any, because grapefruit is not safe with lots and lots of medication.

Love a grapefruit every now and then for dessert. Lots of vitamin C. I eat them like an orange and watch people cringe.

LOVE grapefruit. It's really yummy if you put cinnamon on it and then put it in the oven on broil for a few minutes. Soooooo good!!

I'm just sad it's your go to desert.

I feel even more sad if you think it's supposed to be your dessert- unless of course that means you have ice cream for breakfast- which in that case- by all means- carry on.

Hey, how about sprinkling a little brown sugar on a cut half and broiling it? I love sour. I love my 0% yogurt. Love it all.

I just have to put too much work into them! I like the flavor but I need the membranes removed from each segment. Basically I like packaged grapefruit.

I didn't realize until recently that a lot of people don't know about this little gadget.

I eat and enjoy the white grapefriut variety, also it's something I wanted to do as part of an alkaline diet. I usually create a smoothie with it and add a small orange for sweetness as I'm trying to cut out as much processed sugar as possible. I am on thyroxine melds and regularly tested so all is fine with eating grapefruits for me at least. I consume my smoothie around 10:30am leaving it around two hours before my lunch.

I tried pommelo for the first time recently and realized that it was how I always wanted grapefruit to taste. Don't know if I'll ever really like grapefruit, but pommelo....mmm! (Looks like an enormous grapefruit, but less bitter)

I love my grapefruit spoon! I only eat them occasionally but the spoon just makes it feel so much fancier. Also reminds me of my grandmother
