Ok I am sad to admit that I have not been on this site for awhile and the reason is so stupid.. I was getting discourged :( I know that sounds crazy but I have been stuck the scale wont budge in the way I want it too. I am very PROUD of everyone losing but I was starting to feel something was wrong with me. Well after having a conversation with a friend this morning via text I realized that I was setting myself up for failure.. and if they cared enough about me to want me to beat this struggle then I needed to also. So here I go ahead another retake.. I still have about 2 months before my girls Vegas trip and I am 15 pounds away from where I wanted to be by then. I will do this I will win this battle!!! So to my special text buddy ( you know who you are) Thank You for opening my eyes:)

That's why this site is so important, because you can express your discouragement and have people here to support you. It is a process, but the only way you will fail is if you don't try at all. You can do this!!

I was just reading yesterday (Don't Go Hungry Diet by Australian scientist Dr Amanda Sainsbury-Salis) about how weight loss is not a steady thing. It usually occurs in a stepwise fashion. Your body needs to adjust to your new lower weight and then you will continue to lose if you keep doing all the good things you've been doing. It could be that your body is setting a new set-point which is good news! You need to nurture yourself through the plateaus because they are part of the process. Keep at it but be kind to yourself! Good on you for coming back!
