Hey folks. I've been gone from the site for quite awhile and am coming back cuz I'm headed back to the weight I was at last time I used the site to take more control. I deleted all my old weight entries and entered my weight as of 1 March in hopes of starting the counter from the new weight. Now on the weight entry page it says my starting weight is what I input and shows the March 1st date....but the counter is still calculating weight lost from the original weight I entered in 2013. I'd prefer not to delete this account and start a new one because I have lots of recipes and exercise info saved. If anyone knows how to reset that counter please let me know! Thanks!

Yes, using the website, click on apps in the first toolbar and tickers on the second tool bar. There should be an option to update weight date there.

Thanks! Went there and did that and still calculating based on my old entries. I guess somewhere in there that old weight is input somewhere. Odd though...now the ticker and the "starting" weight match but even with only one weight entry in the system it says I've lost weight. I wish it really were that easy to lose that much. LOL Thanks for the help....I'll keep looking and I'll check back in a bit....maybe it takes a few minutes to update.

oh well….even tried re-customizing the ticker…..I guess the "save changes" just isn't working on the ticker ap…at least not for me. Nothing will convince it to stop using the old weight…..and my OCD means that will drive me freakin' nuts. LOL

I'm having the same problem! I've lost some weight but since I'm still above where I was a few years back, it shows me as having gained.

On the website, click the scale icon to add weight. Under the measurements table there is a link to edit entries. On that screen you can edit your starting weight at the top of the table or add and delete entries by date in the table.

Try all of these methods, maybe one of them will work.

You must use the Web version, not the mobile apps, to update your starting weight or edit previous entries. On your mobile device, you can use the Web browser and request to load the desktop site.

Navigate to APPS > Tickers > Update your weight data. Enter your desired starting weight and click Save Changes. That will update the oldest date/weight in your profile, which is used to calculate your overall loss (or gain).

Alternately, navigate to MY HOME > Check-in > Edit Previous Entries.

    a. Enter a new value in the Starting Weight text box and click Change; or

    b. Scroll down and click on the highest page number to take you to the oldest date/weight entry. Once you find your oldest date/weight entry, under Add New Entry, enter the new date/weight and click Add New Entry. That will replace the oldest date/weight with your new one.

    c. If you want to keep all of your historical data, Add New Entry at least one day older than the oldest date/weight, since any weight loss or gain calculations use the oldest date/weight.

Hmm...I'm surprised it didn't work. That's how I reset mine when I started over 3 months ago and I didn't have to delete or do anything else. That's odd..
Maybe one of the ways mentioned above will work!

This is what worked for me! I am starting over after gaining back some extra weight following abdominal surgery.
