No Clue!

I am a 30 year old mother of 2 (6yo,1yo) I have never been one to exercise due to back and hip problems. I am down below my pre-pregnancy weight almost to what I weighed in high school and I am wanting to tone and lose 8-10 more pounds. What do you suggest? I'm not sure what type of exercise program I should look into. I have a busy life I work full time and my 2 keep me busy. I'm looking for something low impact that I can do to tone and build endurance because of now I am out of shape and have little endurance. Any and all help appreciated!

    Hi
    Welcome to MFP
I suggest you read the MFP "most helpful post" at the beginning of this message board

Exercise is for fitness and health. Eating at a deficit is for losing weight, meaning calories burned higher than calories ingested
Buy yourself a food scale, weigh everything you eat and log it at MFP.
If you do not have a lot of time and are a very busy mother, I suggest you start by walking first.
Lifting weights has helped me a lot with achieving a better body shape. You could start with body weight exercises first. There is a ton at the web.
Good luck in your healthy journey

I'm 32 with two kids. 8 & 2. I walk a LOT and it's made a huge difference. I did a program called 21 Day Fix. Sold through Beachbody. I did the modified version on the lower body workouts because I also have bad knees and hips. It did make me noticeably stronger and helped to tone. It also has a clean eating plan. Workouts were 30 minutes but it was 7 days a week. Not doable for a busy mom, BUT I adjusted it to my schedule. 2 workouts one day, then skipped the next. Etc. Personally, now, I just use my 10lb free weights to tone along with squats and abs and have had success. Now that the weather is nicer, I prefer walking.
