Baby Weight has got to go...

Hi Everyone,
My name is Ange and I'm so excited to have found a site that really motivates me to eat well and exercise. I'm loving tracking everything and feel like the weight is coming off. I feel great even after just 2 days of sticking to it. My son is almost 5 months old and with summer around the corner I'm hoping that I can stay on track. Glad to have joined the community!
Have a wonderful week everyone. Any tips for continuing to stay motivated...exercise for a busy schedule with baby or quick healthy foods that I can eat on the go (low calorie) would be appreciated!

Things that have helped me are telling my IRL friends about it. When they join the hold you accountable and check up on you.0

My gym has childcare and I utilize that so that I can get my workouts in. My son is 18mths and I've been taking him since he was 6wks old. I've gone off track quite a few times but I'm also trying to take the baby weight off. Interestingly enough, I was lighter last summer but I was much "softer" because I was still bouncing back from having my son.0

I have a 4 month old and a 3 year old. I was having a hard time exercising because I was leaving it all for the afternoon and by then I was too tired. What is working for me know is sneaking in 30 minutes of exercise here and there. For example, I'll do yoga or pilates early in the morning (after the baby's early am feeding, while my 3 yr old sleeps). Then we'll go for a 30 min walk around the neighborhood before lunch. After lunch I put them both down for a nap which gives me about 2 1/2 hours to myself. This is when I sneak in some cardio, take shower and mellow out if I can.
Hope this helps!0 -
That's a fantastic routine. I'm looking after my friend's 2 year old as well so going for walks and taking advantage of the time they are both sleeping will be key! Thanks for the ideas...just finished a 30 minute dance workout with the 2 year old while baby is sleeping We had fun!0

Hi Ange!
I too am trying to lose the weight gained during pregnancy and some from before. It is hard! I have a 10 month old and she is super active, but I find that while I make sure she eats really healthy, I don't always follow that plan. I am a teacher that is just about to start summer vacation. I know that the summer will allow for a more focused diet and exercise plan. I am really hoping that I can stick with it this time around!
Hoping to see results,
Aimee0
