Hi-I don't do much grain and basically no bread due to gluten sensativity. What other kind of food items can I eat as I seem to fall short in the carb category at the end of the day? I know fruit, but usually do that in the morning and I know the sugar (natural ) is high in fruits. Suggestions please!

Go buy some quinoa. You will fall in love.
Can you eat beans? Lentils, quick oats, sweet potatoes?

Roast veggies like diced turnips, rutabagas and sweet potatoes and carrots, with some onion and bell peppers. I do a big batch on Sundays, and eat it over the week. OMG I love the stuff. Drizzle with a little olive oil for a healthy fat and season a bit, and that's all it takes.
I eat it like candy. Just watch portions because it's starchy with the root veggies. So satisfying, though.
And adding beans to your menu brings in good carbs and protein too. I toss them into all sorts of recipes.
Good quick snacks include string cheese, Peanut butter, greek yogurt, and hummus on just about anything.0 -
Low calorie low carb? Broccoli?
low calorie higher carb seems to be what you're actually asking, in which case I would double up on sweet potato, carrots, and peas. Milk is actually a surprising source of carbs as well.0
