Hi
What do you all eat when you crave something sweet instead of chocolate.

I avoid the craving by including a small bit of chocolate in my plan each weekday. I haven't binged on chocolate in decades.

There is no requirement to eliminate chocolate or anything else for that matter.

I aim to eat well every day and just ride those cravings. Don't do replacements per se.

I eat chocolate. Because, let's be honest here, there's no substitute for chocolate.

I am so glad to hear that others also eat chocolate every day... Like me! I've lost 8lbs over the past 2 months while still eating at least one 60kcal square of chocolate (among other things) daily.

Chocolate. Just moderate it. If I want a lot I'll have a chocolate popsicle (really into the Weight Watchers giant fudge bars right now, they taste like Wendy's Frostys and are only ~100 calories). If it's a minor craving I'll have a square or two of dark chocolate or a mini candy like snickers or milky way. I've also been known to mix some cocoa powder and stevia with greek yogurt to make a chocolate pudding type thing or even have some girl scout cookies.

I eat chocolate daily, as well! Hershey Kisses get it done: 22 cal per kiss. Eat one or two and log it.

I love funsize & treat size or Freddo chocolate bars, all come in under 100cals and stop me from binging on "normal size" chocolates.

This is my favorite go-to treat... they are single packed and only 70 kcal. I make room for one in my daily plan almost every day :)

1-2 squares of dark chocolate for 60-120 calories, or a 2-finger kitkat for 100 calories. I also like Twix mini when I don't feel like eating a lot of chocolate for 40 calories each.

I eat the chocolate but like others, try to stick to a "mini" version or a couple of squares. I find that if I try to replace it with something else I end up having the chocolate anyway which kind of defeats the point!

Substitutes don't work for me. My protein bars are chocolate, and I mix chocolate milk powder into my protein shakes. I often eat something else with chocolate for dessert. I suppose you could try fruit.. that's what I always hear, but it doesn't seem like a fair trade to me!

Half a regular tube of Smarties eaten slowly does the trick for me - I have this almost every day :D It works out to be 16 Smarties which feels like a lot :) Just make sure you hide the rest of the tube away out of sight ;)

I try to eat a small square of dark chocolate every day (somewhere between 7g and 14g daily).

Also, I add around 28g of unsweetened cocoa powder to my first cup of coffee in the morning.

No, I add around 8g of unsweetened cocoa powder to my morning coffee. I hadn't had my coffee yet when I wrote that. Haha.

I keep some 85% chocolate on hand, trader Joe's. I'm more of a Reese's peanut butter craver so I'd nuke a chocolate square until melted then mix in some peanut butter.

I haven't had those cravings since I found pb2 peanut powder and orgain protein chocolate flavored. I get the same flavor with the protein I lack.

I also mix cocoa powder into my coffee.

That's why single serving items are the best. If you feel like having one you can go and buy one. I don't have a problem with chocolate but I do with nuts, so I buy these single serving peanut or almond packets that our local grocery sells. I just make a trip to the store every time I feel like having some, this way I'm no too tempted to consume 1000 calories of nuts in one setting because that would mean10 individual trips to the grocery store.
