Is green tea good to help lose weight

    Will it cause weight loss? No. It's great to keep you hydrated, and awake if it has caffeine, but it doesn't do anything magical for burning fat.

    A caloric deficit is what causes fat loss which results in weight loss. Drink green tea if you like it. It may have other properties as well that I am not fully aware - but I don't know that weight loss is one of those proven.

    No not really. The caffeine will boost your energy level for a bit.

    But there are so many health benefits of green tea. If you like it drink it. If you've not tried it, make sure the water you brew it in is "just about" boiling. Too hot water will give you a bitter tea.

    I drink it plain in the afternoons or evenings. It's a great drink. It helps me with the hand-to-mouth urges. I add nothing to it.

    what about matcha tea? i have heard its good for u like green tea.

    I read a study that it might help. So my breakfast tea is green. The rest of the time I drink herbal It doesn't hurt and might help and I like it once a day.
