New to counting calories

So I'm kind of new to this whole app and counting calories. This is my TRUE second time trying to loose weight. I say TRUE because all those other little tries only lasted a week or so! I'm trying to stay focused and stay below my calories, but it's hard! Would love to meet some new people on here to help with the support! Feel free to add me!

    Hi my name is Kelli. I'm new to the app and very new to counting calories. I've been working out at the gym now 6 weeks. I feel great but no weight lossed at all. I'm discouraged. I've googled about my reason for no weight loss and it comes down to calories. How are you doing with your counting? Do you like this app? Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hey kelli, welcome to the world of counting calories! Lol I very much enjoy this app because it's very easy to use! If I can't find my phone searching I have the option to scan the Barcode and it pops right on up! They say when trying to loose weight that it's 80/20...meaning 80% of it has to do with diet and what you eat and 20% is the working out part! It's hard some days to keep below my caloric intake but with the exercising, I'm managing to stay below my calorie numbers each day! Don't give up...this is only the beginning! Oh and either throw your scale away or have someone hide it....looking at that will make you feel discouraged and feel like giving in! Focus more on how you feel and your diet!
