Hello,

Does anyone know of a way, or has anyone tied their step count from their Pebble Watch to MFP?

Thanks,
Jon

I may have a solution. I am running Android FYI. I just installed the Google Fit app and haven't had a lot of experience with it yet, and just got all this set up, so I'll need to let you know if it works in 24 hours or so. Reply so I remember, thanks!
    • In my Pebble Time app, I enabled Sync with Google Fit in the settings for the Health app.
    • I added Google Fit as a connected app through the MyFitnessPal app (under Apps & Devices in the sidebar menu).
    • I double-checked that Pebble Time and MyFitnessPal were both listed in Connected apps, under Google Fit data in the settings for the Google Fit app.

EDIT: I just noticed that in MFP under Exercise I now have something: "MFP Android Google calorie adjustment", which amounts to 10 calories of exercise. So I think it's working! I'll try to let you know if the step counter is working. I hope you're running Android; I don't think I can help if you have iOS.

It is totally working BTW. It actually compares MFP's projected calories to the estimated calories burned based on your activity level, and then adjusts accordingly. My calorie goal is set pretty low (at BMR) and then Google Fit sends additional exercise calories based on steps/distance walked. I think your calorie goal could be set higher and MFP will adjust up (or down) if your calorie goal doesn't match the projected number of calories burned according to Google Fit.

Ooh Google Fit also gets sleep data from Pebble Time.
