What's in your fridge (with photos)

I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone's fridges look like - not only to see what people have in there to get ideas from, but also because I think it will be interesting to see the different sizes of fridges as I know that different countries have hugely different 'normal' sized fridges!
Here's the trick though - go grab your camera and take a photo of your fridge right now, don't wait until tomorrow after you've been shopping and will have stocked up on healthy stuff, don't move that bottle of beer out of view first - let's see what it REALLY looks like.
I will start off with mine. It's a small UK fridge that feeds two adults.
Top Shelf - Jam, mustard, jalapenos, pickled onions, branston, salad dressing, gherkin, light salad cream, brown sauce, tomato ketchup.
Middle - Spinach, celery, black bean sauce
Bottom - Left over Ravioli, Philadelphia cream cheese, half jar peeled tomatoes, left over chicken tikka, crumpets, bacon, beetroot
Drawer - Lettuce, spring onion, mushroom, grapes, ginger, garlic, radish, cucumber, peppers
Top - Apple sauce, Mint sauce, mustard, lime, eggs
Middle - Garlic mayo, cottage cheese, cool salsa, cheddar cheese, spicy relish, BBQ sauce, Peri Peri sauce, Sweet onion sauce, Lemon juice
Bottom - Milk, Flavoured water, sweet chili sauce, Chili and ginger sauce, Tabasco sauce, hot chili sauce
I didn't realise quite how many sauces we have, there are more on a shelf not in the fridge as well lol
So come on, show us yours

I would take a photo of my fridge, but it looks pretty poor - four potatoes, half a block of butter, a water jug and half a jar of marmalade!
I really should go shopping!0 -
Just saw eggs in a fridge. You shouldn't keep eggs in the fridge. I used to, then I saw James Martin on Saturday Kitchen say you shouldn't, there is no need, they won't go off any sooner, and they take on the flavours from the other food in the fridge really easily. I find that now my eggs have much more flavour. Just keep them in the cupboard or on the side.0

Feed two adults and a toddler for a week (he eats everything we eat). All its missing its low fat 'butter' spread as I forgot to get it, and we keep most meat in the freezer. Oh we eat fresh seafood too - usually crab but I get that from the fishmonger in the middle of the week.
Door top shelf - Tomato puree, garlic, ginger, lemon grass, chillies, lemons.
Middle - Burger ketchup and ketchup (I don't touch this my OH is a sauce fiend), Light mayo, reduyced sugar jam *jelly in the US).
Bottom - The biggest butternut squash I have seen in my entire life, skimmed milk for me and OH, whole milk for the toddler.
Inside top - Diced beef, beetroot, cherries, chicken breast slices, mango 'breasts'.
Middle - Free range eggs, dairylea cheese triangles, low fat cheddar, fine green beans, baby sweetcorn
Bottom - A box of pear cider, asparagus, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach
Drawers - Red onions, sweet potato, bell pepper, broccoli, carrots.
I veggies!!0 -
Thanks for posting guys
Interesting how many veggies you guys keep in your fridges, I keep some in there but mainly that is just kept in a cupboard.0 -

-
Upload then somewhere like photobucket.com and then copy the 'bbcode' they give you0
-
I don't have a photo of my fridge, but i like the idea.
Regarding eggs, my grandfather works on board a ship where they have eggs kept on board not in fridges for months and they don't go off and they eat them just fine so you they done need to be in the fridge:)0 -
I wouldn't want to post a pic of my fridge... I need to clean out all the science experiments, ie. leftovers. lol
Awesome thread though...0 -
