Just thinking about what I eat often: Potatoes (sweet, white, purple, etc), Brussels sprouts, bell pepper, carrots, onions, broccoli, kiwi, apples, bananas, clementines, mushrooms, celery, spinach, cauliflower, corn, beans, tomatoes, berries, green beans, peaches, edamame, and peas.

But the first response is the right one. Any veggies you like can be part of a good weight loss plan. What you find filling will be different than what I find filling. What you like will be different than what I like. Play around and see what works best for you.

    True, good point. Thanks

I find that anything I have to chew for a while helps me eat less because I get fed up of eating (yes I'm that lazy!). Apples and celery are the best for that reason :)

Rainbow chard! Pre washed spinach and mixed greens. Boston lettuce for a special fluffy salad. Strawberries are a lot of yum for a small calorie Footprint. Mushrooms! Snow peas!

I eat a myriad of veggies and fruit as I enjoy the variety. Cruciferous veggies ans zucchini are my favorite. I love frozen fruit as well.

Same for me; all of them. I'm glad I'm not one of those picky eaters who doesn't like fruits/veggies.

I bake cauliflower and broccoli florets drizzled with a bit of olive oil, and sprinkled with parmesan and garlic powder.
Bake til crunchy, I eat them like chips. They're extra yum dipped in creamy Blue cheese dressing.

Anything high in fiber. I really like red pears, figs (when in season), bananas. For veggies, I LOVE doing spaghetti squash with dinner...70 calories in two cups and it will keep you FULL! So yummy.

Courgettes do it for me (zucchini if you're from the US). I spiralise them and use them in space of spaghetti and often can't finish the portion!

Yes, all of them. But I find broccoli particularly good for volume, cauliflower good for neutral flavor and a lower calorie substitute for rice/potatoes, and salads/raw veggies great for satiety. I also love butternut squash for it's sweetness.

I love spinach and greens, but when cooked their volume becomes small so don't feel like they help me feel as full, but I still eat them.

For fruits, I feel like berries are more filling per calorie than apples or grapes.

Honestly, fruits and/or veggies alone do not fill me up, but if I pair them with a fat/protein it's much better. Think celery with cream cheese, apple with peanut butter, berries w/ cheese......you get the idea.

I agree with this, but you should experiment for yourself.

Veggies and fruit don't do a thing for making me want to stop eating. Having protein makes me want to stop. There's only so much meat I can eat without feeling a little sick. I have my veggies with meals.

Avocado has fat (the good kind) which lends itself to satiety. Olives, too. But watch portion size, of course. Green veggies have next to no calories, and can be eaten in practically unlimited quantities (balancing varieties). Berries and melon have fewer carbs than fruits like grapes or bananas, so you can eat larger portions. A bit of protein, fat and carbs together make the best snack (greek yogurt with berries, for example) for satisfaction. If you don't get all three macros in, you will crave the missing ones.
