We are going to Disney, soon. 8 days-
And I'm super excited! But nervous l. I've lost 8 lbs and only been on here a month. I don't want to lose my progress but I am not sure how to eat/log while there-
Should I try to stick just as close as possible? I do not want to gain any back. Anyone have tips/advice?

You'll most likely be more active than normal, so that will help even things out. Plan a sensible and filling breakfast, enjoy lunch at the park, have one treat during the day, have a sensible dinner. Above all enjoy it. Most the weight gain will be water weight and you'll drop it within a week or two.0

Well the good thing about disney is that theres a LOT of walking. You can also bring your own food in as long as its not in glass containers and not from a restaurant (ie, no walking around with big macs). I actually lose a few pounds whenever we go to disney, between all the walking in park, and walking back to our hotel. If you're eating in park they do have some 'healthy' options, plus lots of fresh fruit. The disneyland inside out app is very helpful for a multitude of disney things, including diet tips, for all parks! I largely recommend it.0

you will be doing so much walking, i doubt that you gain any weight. Eat sensibly and enjoy.0

I agree, you'll be walking. and walking. And then walking some more. (And standing forever if you plan on going on any rides) You'll be in Disney (World? Land?) so I'd just enjoy that! My dream vacation is two weeks on a Disney cruise followed by two weeks staying inside Disney World. I went years ago for a three-day weekend and it truly was magical. There's so much to do and see.0

I was there recently! Each day, my step count was between 15000-30000 steps (like 7-15 miles!!) so if you're splurging a little, you should be fine! I did also look at this website for help. http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2010/02/04/eating-healthy-in-walt-disney-world/
Have lots of fun!0 -

My favorites are the (giant) hand-dipped corn dogs and soup in a sourdough bread bowl. I usually share with my husband because most meals are big enough for two. Those corn dogs are amazing (and I'm not even a corn dog eater). My dad loves the turkey legs.
I usually try to eat a reasonable or small, protein heavy breakfast. Scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt, or protein drink, etc. I take healthy snacks into the park. Maybe crackers, fruit or veggies, granola bars. I take a small, lunchbox size insulated, soft cooler with an ice pack. You can't take hard coolers. Mine is small and is more like small diaper bag size. I just attach it to my stroller and then I have snacks. But you can rent a locker if you're not taking a stroller. And there are stands where you can buy fruit. They'll charge you a fortune, but it's yummy.
I try to pick a reasonable lunch, but I always allow myself at least one or two treats (Mickey ice cream bar, DoleWhip, Churro, etc) while I'm there, and my favorite meals for dinner (corn dogs, soup, etc).0 -
You need to enjoy yourself while there! It's not everyday someone goes to disney... have fun it's only one day! Just limit, eat that cotton candy but in controlled portions .. I wouldn't log in my diary. I never do the days when I have a special occasion because then I feel guilty about living life and having fun.. enjoy this day. Live in the moment, pace yourself . And your body will thank you more than drooling over everyone's goodies ..0

We did Disney at Thanksgiving. I lost weight due to increased activity. One day we did 15 miles - gps on phone. Most meals are big enough to share and we still had snacks along the way. Have fun and don't log.
