Hey everyone, just wanted to get some input on macro percentages folks have had success with with cutting fat. Right now I'm at 40% fat, 35% protein, and 25% carbs. Thanks!

Looks all right. Macro splits is all about what works for you. You will want to aim for satiety and fueling workout.

If you feel satiated and can meet that kind of target easily, go with it. It's more important to keep your calories in a reasonable deficit.

It really depends how often you work out as well. You might want to have your carb percentage higher to fuel your body for energy and recovery for hard work outs and then lower your carb intake on rest days.

Guys are you mad cutting carbs like this!? That's insane!! Restricting them so much will lead you to a binge later big time!!!!

Macro percentages don't cut fat - that's from a calorie deficit.

You don't have to stick to percentages either, far more flexible diet-wise to set protein and fat as minimums and let carbs fall wherever they fall within your calorie goal.

If you are into endurance exercise then it's not a great idea to limit carbs drastically, unless you like running at the back of course! :)

I cut plenty of fat on 40/30/30. Fat loss is 99.5% energy balance and training regimen.
