Foods to increase my caloric intake

Hi guys,
I've been trying to get in shape and eat right, but it's hard to know where to begin. Whenever I track my progress and fill in my daily food diary I find that I am always way below my caloric intake. I really love eating vegetables and fish, but I'm assuming that they don't have many calories. What are some foods that I could incorporate into my diet that would help with the calories without having to eat mounds of food?
Thanks a ton!

These are some of my favorites: almond butter or reduced fat peanut butter, lean red meat like flank steak or strip, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, beans, hummus, nuts, reduced fat Greek yogurt, protein shakes, protein bars (so many good flavors), and lentil or chili soups. Hope this helps!0

Milk and yogurt provide calories, calcium, and protein! Always a good snack and filler...but kudos to you for needing to find a way to ADD calories lol0

NATURAL peanut butter is by far the best.
Nuts and legumes have large amounts of good fats. Remember, fat has more calories than carbs and proteins, so take advantage by eating good fats to fill out your calories. A handful of almonds can get you quite a few calories really quickly.0 -
Too bad I'm not big on the dairy products
But I have been drinking almond milk instead, although it only has 60 cal so I have to substitute in other ways
