I'd like to start this thread by saying I GO OUT EVERY WEEKEND... AND IT HAS TO STOP! Every Monday when I get on the scale I have a 1-2 lb increase from the Friday before. I know it is mostly water weight and bloat from eating bad food/ alcohol but it is sure is frustrating. Then I spend the entire week eating great, staying under calories and trying to re-loose the lbs I "gained" over the weekend... plus more! It's like every week I take 3 steps forward and then every weekend I take two steps back. GRR.
So this weekend, the boyfriend is out of town (usually I stay at his place over the weekend, away from MFP and my diet.. :X) so I am making an effort to eat like its a weekday, lol.
All I keep thinking is if I lost 50 lbs doing it the hard way, how much can I lose cutting out bad weekends?????

Cutting out weekends will make a big difference for sure! But you might not have to do that. Stick to a drink or two and nothing sweet or mixed with soda, Red Bull, etc. Also...sip slowly? Haha so you order less drinks. Weekends are fun, but so is seeing those numbers on the scale go down! You can sooo do this!

I feel exactly the same and I agree with aneisiena, just sip or get less sweetened drinks... I like gin and tonic because it's low calorie but just avoid mixers, beer and wine is awful haha!
I wouldn't say starve yourself though and save your cals for going out, although you'd get drunk quicker, you sick up bile in my experience!!! ;)
