so in a while we will be going away and I don't wnt to lose momentum and feed back from MFP so how do you log when going away and not going to be in front of a computer and no fancy phone to log in with?

Do you skip it all and start fresh or do you pen adn paper it and back track through the days you missed when you get home and will that even work on MFP or will it knock you back to day 1?

Either way I guess i will still keep working out and watching what I eat but loggin it all in might have to ge the thing I skip.

I log through my phone. If you have a smart phone, you can download the app. If not, then pen and paper is your best bet. It will probably knock you down to day 1 again though.

Sometimes if I'm feeling confident in my eating habits I'll skip it and then just pick it back up when I'm home. You can definitely keep everything written down and then log it when you get back, but knowing how many calories you consumed after the fact doesn't help much except if you realize you made bad choices to keep you from doing the same next time. All in all, probably just try to make the best food choices you can while you're away and then log it when you get home if you're curious to see how you did, you know? Also, if I have an idea of what I'll be eating while I'm away (like if I know we'll go out to a certain restaurant) I'll sometimes log it in advance, just to sort of have a game plan and that helps keep me on track.
