I am having some trouble getting started after a 2 weeks of Vacation. I was doing really good before my Vacation and lost 11 lbs. (155-144) in 8 weeks (by eating close to 1200 cals a day). During the vacation, I gained 5 pounds back up to 149 (it was a very good Vacation). My goal weight is 130 lbs. So as you can see. I am having hard time find the motivation to get back in to the habit of logging and eating clean and just getting on the program again. Any experience you can share if you had a same situation or any advice will help. Thanks.

I've done this twice since I started losing January 2015, and for me, getting back on track is like like trying to stop a runaway train. Luckily, the track doesn't run out. Just keep at it and do a little better each day. Focus less on how much you have to lose to get back to where you were and just try to meet your daily goal. It might take a while but you'll be alright.

Well it will be easier if you get rid of that 'I need to 'eat clean' to lose weight' mentality. Especially as 'clean eating' doesn't mean anything.

Try planning out your meals for the rest of the week. If you make a plan your become invested in following it. If you know certain meals you like but make too much of plan for leftovers.

Toss the ambiguous idea of "eating clean" out the window. Along with the notion of "being good."

Seriously - just start tracking your intake again. That's a good habit to set up, while imposing arbitrary food rules on yourself isn't a good habit to set up.

Start without motivation. It may follow - but don't sit around waiting for it.
