Show your food

Post your food.
It's easier to stay on track with your meals if you have to show them to someone else.

    Not for me.

I'm only accountable to myself. My decisions are my own. My successes and failures (and there will be failures because I'm not perfect) are my own.

Not for me either. The thought that someone else might see that I went over my calories doesn't motivate me at all, whereas I am quite able to be accountable to myself. Also, others don't know what my specific goals are the way I do, and I don't think others care enough about what I'm eating to scrutinize my diary and say anything more than "how did [insert food] taste?" or "did you really eat all that together -- what was it?" (since I often just list ingredients for multiple dishes together in a way that looks weird).

I wish I'd taken a picture of my dinner. It was so good. I do fine as far as staying on track but I do like sharing something that turned out great.

I sauteed some shaved Brussel sprouts (on sale cheap) in some olive oil with garlic, red onion, sun dried tomatoes, salt pepper and red pepper flakes. When tender, I added a little bottled general tso sauce and some steamed shrimp.

It was divine. 281 calories. I have room for some of the lemon no bake cheesy pie thing I made today. B)
