burpees

How many should I do a day to get the best results?

    what results are you looking for? i don't do any burpees

    you'll have to do more than just burpees for that. But if you did a few hundred throughout the day, you'd probably build up some endurance and get some fitness going on and feel sore at first but after a few weeks you'll feel good.

    I do about 42 in a tabata set if that's any help

    1 min burpees 1 min weights 1 min burpees 1 min weights etc works a treat high intensity for 30 mins

    I'd shoot for no more than 300. ;)

    One exercise isn't going to tone you up as much as you'd like. As you lose weight, the resistance gets less. But if that's what you like to do for exercise, do as many as you feel comfortable doing with also the feeling like you worked out.

    I read that it takes 541 burpees to burn off a large fries

    thats not alot, when i used to do them as part of circuits, we'd do that many easily. thats 12 sets of 25 throughout the workout. If you do the circuit 12 times, thats 300 burpees. really, that's not a lot even if you arent in great shape. thats how you get in shape!
