I've turned into a calorie counter!

After a year of trying to lose weight (admittedly not doing all I could have or should have done), a friend of mine recommended I check out MFP. I downloaded the app a few days ago and it's really helped me out.
However, I've become one of those blasted Calorie Counters! I knew it would happen eventually, and it finally did. Now I'm checking how many calories are all over the place on everything I eat. You know what? I actually love it. I'm down six pounds in just a few days and I feel great!
I attribute it to my being a nerd and loving all the data that I can input into the app. Either way, this app has helped me out so much!

When I started this journey of weight loss and getting back into shape, I wrote a little blurb on Facebook about how I went from being a total couch potato to a serious person wanting to become healthy again. It included the fact that I went in two totally different directions in a matter of days and I was contemplating the good and bad differences of the two. Where, was it right or better to live the way I was living, that of unhealthy eating and no exercise what so ever to being controlled by high tech gadgets (Fitbit) counting calories and such. The reaction I got from the people on FB was interesting. Most however agreed that the corner I turned was for the better. In total, I had to agree with them. I enjoy feeling the way I feel now and I wouldn't change it for all the tea in china.0

Same here.... Because of the calaries Count I eat only half I use to eat before. So far lost 25 lbs in 105 days. Thx to Apple Watch & MFP.0
