it was saint pattys today and i dont remember the last time i ever ate poorly. i have been eating crazy clean for over 10 years and im trying to lose that last bit of stomach fat. today i had a sub, only veggies, hollowed out bun (whole wheat), a mushroom veggie burger with mayo, small nyf with gravy, and a 375 ml bottle of grey goose (oinly drank 7/8th of it). i dont remember the last time i ever ate this poorly and im scared itll make me gain the weight i worked so hard to lose. im 5'3 and weigh 110lbs. i normal consume 1200 cals a day, but im trying to up it to 1500 cuz i think ive plateaued as a result of my deficit. i work out 5-6 days a week for a minimum of 2 hours each session. should i be worried?
im also 23

You'll be absolutely fine. One day doesn't matter at all in the big scheme of things. You may see some temporary water weight but it will go away.

Keep in mind that one pound is approximately 3500 calories. Let's say everything you ate added up to 3500 cals - you still wouldn't have even gained a pound because your body needs a certain amount of energy to function (subtract your BMR).

This is nothing to worry about.

What you ate is basically irrelevant from a weight maintenance perspective - calories are calories. You're not going to gain weight because you ate something you have decided to label "unclean". Without knowing at least a good estimate for your calorie count it's impossible to say.

But I would say this - you don't get fat based on one bad day of eating, any more than you get thin based on one good day of eating.

One day doesn't matter. A single day of crappy eating won't undo the progress of your long-term healthy habits, just like one day of healthy eating won't fix a lifetime of poor choices. Just don't make a habit of it and you'll be fine.

thank you. and definetly not a habit. it just happened to be that i drank so i needed food and all that was around was that stuff.

After drinking 12 oz of vodka, I would think drunk rather than stressed.

OP, food should not cause you this much stress. Having one day of more calories is no big deal. The combination of exercising more than 2 hours almost every day while only eating 1200 calories is a recipe for burnout, nutritional deficiencies, and stress related injuries and, well... stress.

Don't worry about one day off plan. Putting too much pressure on yourself will cause more damage than some "unclean" food. It's great to have goals and to aim high, but you don't want to develop an unhealthy relationship with food or an unhealthy view of your body! Please take care of yourself and ease up on yourself a bit.

Is every single thing you say or anyone else says this funny to you when you haven't downed 12 servings of alcohol in one day?
