How does Mfp calculate calories over weekly goal?

I'm doing the math and it doesn't add up. My weekly goal I thought was
1 lb a week loss
1370x 7 is 9590
I ended up at 12920
Which is about 3k over.
But it says that I went over by about 1800??
Then in the Net version, which I understand is because of exercise, I was under my goal by like 3500.
Ignoring the net, if you do the math, I was over the weekly goal by 3kish, not 1800. What gives?

The most likely reason is that you do not have your settings (Menu/More > Settings > Weekly Nutrition Settings) ticked to calculate the current day's number based on "7 Days Ago." If you have the Weekly Nutrition Settings ticked to start on a specific weekday, then the math may be incorrect for today.0
