Which to record.

So the workout machines at the gym tell you how many calories you've burned. I choose quick start so I don't add any height or weight info.
When I add my exercise to MFP it always gives me a different # than the machine. Which one should I record?

Not the machine, for sure, and MFP overstates calorie burns. I would go with 50 to 75% of what MFP says.0

I was going to say take the lower of the two to be safe but queenliz's suggestion makes perfect sense I think it's better to underestimate the calorie burn0
