Hey there! I've seen some supplements supporting bruise reduction. What are your thoughts and do these work? Is there a specific vitamin for bruises (capillary healing, etc)

My first instinct when I hear the word "supplements" is to roll my eyes.

If you believe there is something unnatual about how easily or how much you bruise, talk to your dr.

Arnica cream/gel topically can help the bruise fade quicker but I've never ingested it. (I bruise easily due to skin damage)

This. My mom used to bruise incredibly easily, and then she found out she had an extremely low platelet count that caused it and it nearly caused her to bleed to death.

Pineapples have an enzyme called bromelain that may help with bruising. It's sometimes suggested to help with the bruising after cosmetic surgery in order to heal more quickly. Googling "bromelain bruise" will pull up a lot of info for you but here's one article I found, http://thedermblog.com/2008/07/29/pineapples-bromelain-for-bruises/ .
I don't read this blog but hopefully it helps you to find more info.

Disclaimer: bromelain works like a blood thinner so you might want to check with your doctor first.

Thanks for everyone who was helpful and unassuming. I was just curious if bruise supplements were a thing or not. I'll be sure to check out the vitamins and minerals suggested.
And if anyone is nosey, I'm a fighter getting ready for a movie.

There are arnica tablets. I took them after a surgery.
