This past week my diet has been terrible unintentionally, I was suffering with depression for a few days and I just wasn't hungry at all. I estimate that I ate 200 to 500 calories a day for 7 days. I wasn't starving myself, I just didn't feel hungry. After day 2, I felt fantastic despite eating much less calories than previously. I know some may point to water weight loss but I was on a caloric deficit before this and losing around 2.5lbs a week. I was walking everyday for around 2 to 3 hours to clear my mind. My starting weight before this was 210lbs and I'm now at 197lbs.

Your intake explains the some of the loss and feeling or not feeling hungry can be misleading. Regardless of how you felt, that intake level will leave you malnourished. Malnutrition has a lot of bad side effects (hair loss, brittle nails, lean body mass loss, gall stones, etc).

You basically had a negative net calorie intake. There's water loss, fat loss, and likely quite a bit of muscle loss.

    Water and muscle. No secret.
