Hi! I need some advice because I seem to stay hungry! I have been doing MFP for 10 days. I try to get 100-130g protein a day and keep carbs under 200g (per MFP guidelines) Has anyone dealt with this and what did you do? I just worry I will get off track... It is 6am and I've already had a full meal

There are different things you can do, have a play around with your macros and see what ratio makes you feel fuller, for some that is high fibre, others it is protein or fat.
The second option it reduce your goal to something less agressive i.e. if set to 2 lbs loss a week reduce it to 1lb a week so you get to eat more.
Third, increase exercise so you can eat more just eat back50-75% of exercise cals earned.
Also try and drink more sometimes people mistake thirst for hunger, you want very light straw coloured urine.
Hot drinks do also help take the edge off that hungry feeling (for me it does anyways).
If you like volume, you get more food for you cals from fruit and veg.0 -
I'm 34 yo female 5'7 and my cal are 1820 a day. I wanted to lose 40lbs after I had my daughter and I'm on the last 15.
I wasn't seeing anything from "watching" what I ate, so I started doing MFP.
I eat toast w/pb for breakfast, salads with chicken or salmon for lunch and lean protein w/veggies for dinner. In between I eat hummus, yogurt, granola, fruits... Snacks like that. I haven't been eating back exercise cal burned And I know my water intake is low. Thanks for the tips!0 -

If you are feeling hungry, but don't want to eat more, try eating smaller meals more often and maintain the daily calories. This is what I do, and while it won't change your weight loss, it may help curb your appetite and help you feel fuller so you aren't compelled or tempted to overeat.0 -
Your eating too many calories I worked it out as lightly active your stats it's 1388 calories
Weigh measure everything up exercise & eat as healthy as possible0 -

Eat more fats, and back off in the carbs proportionally to the increase in fat. There is nothing wrong with carbs however additional fat might help keep you feeling more full.0 -

When my day is done I am no where near 1800. I used the setting active. I don't eat back the calories burned from work/exercise so it should be pretty close to 1388 if not under. I will change up the setting and see if that helps. Thanks!

Above 30 years old it too old to be consuming that high amount of carbs. Keep them below 100/day.0

Water, lemon & ginger tea, bouillon/miso hot drinks (watch the salt in them) - these all help with me. Sometimes I want to eat and feel hungry from that, rather than actually being hungry. In those cases I eat something, but make sure it is low calorie and gets logged within my allowance. So, something like celery sticks, seafood sticks, rice cakes etc. Make them strong tasting with a little spice (I buy paprika rice cakes). Just satisfy that craving slowly, tastily and cheaply within the calorie budget.0
