Is it true or false that when a person loses weight that there calorie intake goes down? I eat
1860 calories but before then I ate 2000 calories. When I lost 4kg myfitnesspal changed my
calories from 2000 to 1860. My question is when you lose more weight do you have to change
your calorie intake a bit lower or can you stay with the same calorie intake from the beginning.

The lighter you are, then less calories you will expend.
So if everything else remains constant (activity and exercise levels, muscle mass etc.), to create the same calorie deficit you would have to consume less.0 -

Yes. The smaller you get, the less you need to eat to maintain, or lose weight. So make sure that number gets adjusted down as you lose weight.

Yes, it's true. This is why many people lose weight and gain it all back; they think they can eat the same amount of food they used to before they lost weight.
I'm 5'3" and 113 pounds. I can eat a lot more calories now than I could 20 pounds ago, but that's because I'm far more active now. I can get away with losing weight on 1700 to 2000 calories per day and maintaining on up to 2500, but if I didn't move around at all, I'd be limited to around 1370 just to maintain my weight. I would cry if I could only eat 1370 calories.0 -
