I spent the last 10 years gaining over 100 lbs. last December I made the choice to snap out of the sugar haze and took control of my diet. Nearly 100 days later I and 55 lbs down. I felt trapped and like I could never break my bad habits. You can do this!!

For me food (especially junk food and desserts) was like a drug, and I felt addicted. I hate to cheapen the struggles that actual drug addicts go thru, but that's how I started to view my eating habits. When I realized that for me, my life was never going to change unless I made a conscious decision to eat healthy on a long-term scope, I was able to view that unhealthy food as an unhealthy part of my life, and at that point I was able to stop eating it. I don't know what your eating habits are, or any other factors, but IMO long term health should be your primary goal, and weight loss should fit into that lifestyle thru proper calorie intake and ideally so form of activity or exercise. Just my opinion, and what works best for me. Stay confident, tomorrow's a new day.
