Restaurant food choices

Where in this app do I find this?

    Most chain restaurants have entries and you can search the food database by the name of the restaurant. If it's not a chain restaurant, it's a little trickier but you can search for similar entries to what you want to eat at a common chain (like if you're going to an Italian restaurant I would look up chicken saltimbocca at Olive Garden and Carrabas to get an idea of the calorie counts and log something similar).

    I thought My fitness pal app had such info. It says if you put in your zip code it can find good choices but I can not find where to do that on the app..

    Oh, yeah, I think that's a new feature, not in all areas and maybe only for premium users. I just usually look for what restaurant I'm going to in the main database.

    iPhone and USA only I believe, if that makes a difference.

    I have android and just this week an update to mfp offers restaurant and location info. I haven't used it yet though. I'm in the U.S.

    I spent an hour trying to find it too in mfp and thought I was going crazy. It looked really cool but now I can't find it again. ... help? ??

    This article explains how to do it. It includes helpful pictures. It's working for me on my iphone.
