For Zumba Wii do you need the belt that holds the remote?

    Yes, you are supposed to. However, I only have one belt. When my husband does zumba with me, he will put on one of the neoprene sweat belts and stick the remote in that. With my 5 yr old, I put the remote in her pocket. Anything that will secure it to your hip should do the trick.

    I don't use it - I found it awkward and uncomfortable, actually. I just hold the Wiimote in my hand and it seems to read everything just fine for me :)

    I just got it and I hate that belt. I think I will try holding the remote and see if that works better. Thanks for the idea!

    I don't have the game (yet) personally but I heard keeping it in your hand works just as good.
