Water weight is not as important as losing fat. Actually water in our body is good. Do you mean, will this help with fat loss?

Your body is made mostly of water. So is your blood. You're always going to "hold onto water". If you didn't, you would die.

The reason why im asking on March 23rd I go to my moves class its a weight loss class at VA hospitals for Veterans and i want my weight as low as posible i have already lost 90lbs but it makes me feel really good when my dietician tells me im doing so good. When you start exercising it can cause extra water weight because of your muscles will hold onto water but for how long

But there is not much you can do, drinking extra water helps.

I retain about 2 pounds of water when I'm working out enough. I retain much more than that if I eat added sugars or a lot of grain-based foods... actually about 5 to 8 pounds!! It has been my personal experience that it takes me about 4 to 6 days to lose the accumulated water weight that comes from added sugars and grains if I completely eliminate them from my diet. But it seems to take a bit longer than that to lose the water weight from exercise if I go cold turkey on the exercise. I'm guessing maybe 2 weeks?? I quit going to the gym last November and December and I don't remember exactly when I noticed the drop in weight, but it wasn't as little as a week.

I sort of hate that 2 pound gym gain... it gives me a false sense of success when I get lazy and quit going, but drop some pounds anyway, and then when I get my act together and get back to working out, it is hard not to feel punished when the scale creeps up!

For me personally, eliminating the added sugars (and consequently, processed foods) does more to cause a rapid release of non-fat and non-muscle weight accumulation than anything else I do.

LOL! It just sounds so ridiculous that I even know this stuff about myself! The things you learn when you lose bunches of weight!?!?!!
