Hey MFP peeps! My birthday is coming up and I would like to ask for a really good HRM. Something affordable but will give calories burned and distance when running/jogging. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

Anything Polar! I have an FT4, but it seems they're all pretty good!

If you want accurate distance, you'll want something with GPS. Garmin's are said to be the best HRMs with GPS. Look into the Garmin Forerunner line. Make sure you get the kind with a chest strap.

I have a Polar FT4. It cost me around $100 and I got it on a website Heart Rate Monitors USA. Very good - accurate and easy to use. The best money I ever spent.

I have a Polar FT7. Got it at Sears for around $100. Love it!
